The idea of "The Curse of the Pharaohs" has captured the imagination of filmmakers throughout history, and many of their works were based on the stories of Egyptian mummies.
Despite
Hollywood's attempt to demystify the ancient Egyptian civilization and shed
light on the secrets of the Pharaohs, it only succeeded in increasing this
mystery.
With
the increase in accidents in archaeological tombs, the world used to call it
the "curse of the pharaohs", because there is no clear explanation
for the causes of these accidents.

throughout the history of cinema
1- The Mummy
The
horror movie "The Mummy" was released in 1932, starring Boris Carlos
and Zeta Johan, and deals with the story of the mummy of King Amenhotep, who
awakens from the dead after strangers desecrate the tomb and chase after a
woman he thinks is his old girlfriend.
2- The Mummy
The action movie "The Mummy" was released in 1999, starring Branden Fraser and Rachel Weisz.
The film is based on the version that was released in the thirties with a modern look, and was a huge success, as it grossed $400 million.
The film deals with an archaeological excavation team disturbing King Amenhotep in his tomb.
3- Bubba Ho-Tep
The comedy "Bubba Who Tip" was released in 2002, starring Bruce Campbell and Ossie Davis.
The film revolves in a comic framework about Elvis Presley, who switches roles with his impersonator, but the death of the latter puts Elvis in a confrontation with an ancient Egyptian mummy determined to kill him.
4- The Monster Squad
Horror comedy "The Monster Squad," starring Andre Gower and Ashley Bank.
The film deals with the attempt of a group of children from monster hunters to capture monsters, including Count Dracula and a fugitive Egyptian mummy.
5- Night at the Museum
The fantasy movie "Night at the Museum", starring Ben Stiller and Robin Williams, and its events revolve around a curse caused by an Egyptian pharaoh that brings the holdings of an American museum back to life every night, and the museum keeper has to face this night of terror alone.
6- The Mummy
The action movie "The Mummy" was released in 2017, starring Tom Cruise and Annabelle Wallis, and deals with the awakening of the mummy of a pharaonic princess to wreak havoc on the land.
7- The Curse of King Tut's Tomb
Thriller "The Curse of Tut's Tomb", starring Casper van den and Jonathan Hyde, tells the story of archaeologist Danny Vermont as he tries to discover the secrets of King Tutankhamun's tomb.
8- Tale of the Mummy
The fantasy and horror movie "The Mummy's Tale", starring Gerard Butler, and deals with the curse that befell the tomb of an evil prince, and its discovery after hundreds of years by an excavation team.
